Still no timings for Monday??
Should we be worried
I don’t think so, they have a couple of tours midweek which they are probably focusing on first.

Timings for The Master Cutler Railtour are now appearing on RealTimeTrains.

1 hour 45 mins later back into Leeds than on the originally advertised 'approximate' timings. :|
The timings for the return leg from St Pancras to Leeds haven't appeared on RTT yet, so it will be interesting to see where that time is distributed.

Curiously the ECS back to Crewe is on RTT but the actual return working from STP isn’t - the time distribution you mention must be complicated!

I am, all being well :)

Good stuff. I may make your acquaintance at some point! I’ll be aboard for the northbound leg with a few others.

I can’t face an early start, so will meet it at Pancake and head back south from “Chesvegas”, as our guards call it.

Shame. I was rather looking forward to that. That being said, it’s a long way to stagger at not very high speeds down the HOWL.
I did the 37 tour LSL did along there (last year I think) and despite it being a bit of a bumble along the route, and the high risk of being delayed by a late running TfW service coming the other way, it's a really nice day out. I'd dismissed the 20s on the basis that I did the 37s last year and didn't want to repeat the route so soon but surprised it didn't take the fancy of more people to be honest

A couple of photos from Leeds. Screenshots of the photos as always as the originals are 30MB each.

Great shot of the 45 coming into Pancake.

As Jeremy Corbyn would say, this train is rammed packed.

Heresy perhaps, but 47593 is outshining the Peak today so far in my eyes:

Well I really enjoyed that, some nice long stretches of high speed running and the staff at STP were in the spirit of things, they could show Blackpool north some passenger handling techniques

A good afternoon out. Painfully slow pathing from Pancras to Derby.

That's a 47 ;)

Well we all know a peak is just a 37 with a short nose… :)

Yes they were dealing with it well. Super busy today. Eurostar queues were stretching around the entire station.

Another quality Intercity railtour today. Immaculate stock as always, excellent customer service and a nice itinerary. Some new track for me too around Toton and the Melton Mowbray-Corby line.

The way to London wasn't much better.

Unfortunately after having so much pathing time all the way, we were delayed just outside Leeds and many people including myself missed connections.
