Probably to do with the ongoing TRU works, there's a reduced service across the pennines until next week which will change stock requirements.
Looking at realtimetrains.co.uk from Leeds to Bradford Interchange for today it's hourly Hull to Halifax, York to Blackpool North, Leeds to Chester, Leeds to Manchester Victoria and Leeds to Wigan Wallgate, and the remaining TPE Leeds to Manchester services going via Wakefield rather than the Calder Valley; are there any planned Northern Calder Valley reductions due to engineering works?
Not while the main route is affected no.
The TRU engineering works timetable differs from the "normal " timetable in that it is an hourly service on the Liverpool Lime Street – Leeds route, picking up the stops at Newton-le-Willows and Northallerton that are usually covered by other services.
