The bases were only evident between the platforms, so I assume a very wide span will be used to the West with different piles / bases.

Had a quick visit to Stalybridge Station yesterday and noticed a lot of short metal posts with red and white tape on, also there are 4 rusty circular bases between platforms 3 and 4. Any ideas for what purpose?

I've just been on the Richmond Street Bridge not far from IKEA and looking East there is structure whereas looking West where the Junction splits towards Denton, there isn't any sign of masts.
Crossed Berry Brow level crossing earlier today heading from Droylsden to Failsworth. I spotted 4 masts to my right between the crossing and the viaduct (known locally as the Ten Arches). Didn't get chance to see if anything was erected on the viaduct.
