4031 arriving at Denham's scrapyard at Shildon yesterday

Passed the arrival of a old unit arriving at Denham's scrapyard at Shildon yesterday , I think it was unit number 4041 or 4043. I have attached a photograph.

Yes been, and how annoying that you can not take good photographs of the locomotives coming from the Barking direction.

You will not get much sleep, it's dark tooso not much chance of any photography. The Flying Scotsman room has a door to the balcony.

Not strictly living next to a line, but. My wife bought me an experience to stay in the Flying Scotsman room at The Siding Hotel on the ECML. She could not get to sleep for passing trains during the night, what on earth did she expect being only 6 m from the line.:D:D

If you want quality at that price with a camera you can easily carry around , get a bridge camera such as a Canon G1X. You can pick up a secondhand one on ebay. If you are looking for a SLR, look at a Canon 7D mk1 secondhand. Additional lenses come at a cost. I have a G1X mk1, which I carry...

2 class 185s just pulled into Northallerton Station platform

Just spoken to my mate on the trans p train.. they did a track evacuation with ladders

Stopped at platform 2 Northallerton, lots of people on platform 1.

Just started moving
