    I was born in North Wales and yes South Wales feels like a different country to me, I've no reason to ever go there and have no interest what goes on there. Most people round here have more of a link with the North of England then South Wales.

    I often often use the X1 and have never had a problem with it. The IB to Portmadoc contacts with X1 but you would think not looking at the time table. It's far more reliable then an often closed branch line. I guess you think we have joined up rail network, far from it.

    I am lead to believe that that Express X1 is not supported by Conwy/Gwynedd councils. When it first started operating Arriva trains Wales complained about the buses being free to local OAP's.
