  • Thank you so much. To be honest I wanted to reply to that guy on my post, and I actually wrote a long reply to prepare him for the second day. I then realised that helping him would actually reduce my chances of success so didn't post. I feel pretty damn guilty now but I have to be pragmatic and calculating and think of providing the best life I can for my family. I applied for Southern 6 years ago, passed all their tests and failed the interview, and I remember the assessor being gobsmacked that I had actually shown the role to my friend, who also applied and actually got the job. I am trying to learn my lesson.

Thanks once again and I hope that you understand my dilemma of wanting to reply to that guy and realizing that I should not.
    Hello mate!

I'm a driver at NXG. All I would suggest for the DMI is just be relaxed and confident, but not cocky. It's the first opportunity for ARL to get to know you as a person, not just a number going through assessments.

Research the company, the structure, how TFL and ARL work together, new routes and types of train coming in the future, which linesgo where etc.

It's a time for you to show who you are! Ask questions, try and think of at least two before you go in there. Show that you're willing to learn and are excited about the opportunity.
