    Avanti seat reservation displays

a couple of years ago i was going to London from Stoke and i found a "AVAILABLE" seat as did 2 others, we stopped at i think Lichfield or Rugby. People got on and 1 of the others who had boarded at Stoke found that his seat was now reserved, he did vacate the seat but there was a "comunication"...

Trolley Struck by Train in Derby Area 10/05

back in the day there used to have "snow guards" or such to guard against hitting anything on the track, if now out of fashion re-instate them till the "pleasent, helpful, granny errand boys who would not hurt a fly" find some other form of entertainment...

    Avanti West Coast Cancellations

i agree that it isn't, but one of the main points was drivers etc had not had a rise in 4yrs, so if the cost of living was causing them problems, surely doing a extra shift at £600 would go along way to ease that...

    Delay Repay denied

is'nt delay repay a good thing for the travelling public intending to compensate them, but all the good intentions went out of the window, when the rail companies introduced many hoops for joe public to jump thru. So making it very hard to get what repay is due... indeed hoping they will give it up.

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

a good start would be to let the station management do the "run", let half have luggage, give them a average board time and be sure its videoed...

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

if the platform is displayed after the inbound passengers have disembarked and cleared the platform, the cleaning will have started. It will give out-bound passengers time to get to the ticket check then arrive on the platform to wait for the doors to be opened... "simplies" or is this too easy...

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

does the Euston "experience" all come down to the sociology that the passenger comes way down the list of things to do, in despatching a train... for the sake of an on time departure "let the passenger" rush if they get on fair enough if they don't wait for the next crush... we've got targets to...

    ASLEF strikes 5th-8th April weekend

i'm not in the industry now thank goodness, but from what i've seen/heard the vote was do you want your union to use further industrial action if need be, as per the law that the union must ballot members every 6 months, not do you accept the offer that's on the table... So if they had a vote...

    Dangerous boarding procedures at Euston

could/should there be a minimum boarding time introduced, ie 15mins displayed then if the cleaners have not done, passengers could wait on the platform, even if a train is arriving the platforms are wide enough, and i'm sure i've seen seats dotted about... or is that to simple for Euston?
