I have noticed that 375's and 377's have been replacing networkers on some routes. Such as:
London Victoria - Ashford Int
London Victoria - Canterbury West
and no more Networkers from London Victoria - Gillingham
I think these are great changes as Networkers were horrible for long journeys...
I have seen quite a few 377's on southern metro lines.I am curious to why they have started popping up. I prefer them to the class 455s. Will southern try to put more 377's on the metro services?
I feel like no train operating company is doing something about the networkers. They want to remove them however you can do a lot with them. I don't think the networkers should be taken out of service yet, they are still good trains belongs they do works to them. There is no need spending a lot...
That's really good and I hope they do the same with the Victoria - Ramsgate and Dover Priory Line. Quite a few trains stop at all the village stations which isn't needed. It should just go from Rochester straight to Bromley South and atleast run 1 train an hour from the Village Towns.
What is also worring is that the new franchise of southeastern might decide to remove the newtowrkers and the electrostars. I don't think they will as new trains will cost too much and electrostars are modern and fast. I think the electrostars are a good choice for the Chatham main line.
