I also applied for Scotrail trainee driver. I have progressed to DTM interview but not selected further to 3rd stage assessments etc. I received the mail " interviewed to a good standard and being placed on a reserve list for 12 months "
The goal posts have moved significantly since the start of the campaign last September. The 100 vacancies quickly became more like 45 with qualified DBS drivers reducing these numbers even further. The campaign seems to have further slowed recently due to lack of available funding.
I am now trying to put things into perspective. You have passed all 3 stages of selection and must be at the sharp end of progression. Can you confirm whether you ( or any others ) have been offered employment and progressed to medical / active training.
In your experience do you anticipate things starting to move forward at the start of the new financial year or even in the next 12 months or so. Thanks for your help.
