the 902 in Canberra Australia loops around the jail stop twice, once before going towards Hume and once again going away from Hume towards Woden, most journeys do this

I still refer to the following stations as when I am making notes in my black book: > Bebington (& New Ferry) > Liverpool Central Deep Level (Wirral Line) & Low Level (Northern Line) > Canberra (Kingston), Kingston being the suburb where Canberra Station is located > Melbourne (Spencer Street)...

They did the Southport - Leeds service sometimes, I have seen photos of them at Southport, another place I have never seen a 158 would be Hooton / Ellesmere Port other DMU classes but not a 158

I would say Ormskirk but then again I have seen a photo of one in the Preston side of the station on a Preston service in recent times!

In Australia, you have Canberra - Yass Junction, to get there by train you have to get from Canberra to Goulburn and then wait there for one of the XPTs which go to Melbourne and arrive in Yass around 11.30 in the morning or after midnight!

Birkenhead Central - Conway Park, can be walked pretty easily or if done by train you have to change at Hamilton Square or on the Liverpool Loop.

Ellesmere Port - Helsby, to get there you have go via Chester or get the parliamentary service in the early morning or in the evening

on the Wirral you have the station at Bebington formerly called Bebington & New Ferry until the 70s I think

I am suprised no one has mentioned Bromborough - Brombourgh Rake, both stations can be seen from each other too!
