Have Northern any idea of the hardship they have caused to commuters between Lancaster and Carlisle on the West Coast line and more importantly, the huge loss of income that businesses have had to endure especially over the Christmas period?.
I also use the track cleaning wagon from a Ten Commandments.
I find that it cleans the track extremely well and uses no fluids. I use IPA to clean the point blades
Apparently the guy who owns WCRC put the buildings up with the intention of overhauling locos and rolling stock there. Word has it that, typical of him, he didn't have proper planning permission or he did something that hadn't got approval so it has been left to ruin for a few years now.

Carnforth has connections to lines to Morecambe, Barrow, Carlisle, Leeds and Windermere, Oxenholme only has connections to Windermere. Surely this makes Carnforth a better place for intercity trains to stop.
