Ive noticed the two times I've made journeys on strike days, guards haven't been checking tickets just bin doing a passenger count (on crosscountry services) , was wondering if this was because of the strike they've been told to do the minimum amount of work? Ie just doors and announcements

Yes they do accept previous results. I emailed them a week ago an had a response yesterday. They said they would check with opc and if all passed to there standard I would only need to attend virgins assessment day.

If you have already passed with another toc you won't have to resit with virgin unless you havent achieved there pass mark.

Had an email today. Made it through the sift and will be contacted in the near future. ??????

Ive passed all the test with another toc but not sure what grade i got so may have to do some again for atw, just hope they see that iam willing to relocate an give me a chance with a interview.

does anyone know if they will accept your application if you say that you will relocate or is it an automatic no if you dont live within one hour.

Wasnt sure, as it says training dates throughout 2016 and the successfull candidates ...... which to me would imply there not just after one depot driver.

Not sure theres going to be a june intermodal intake if there only telephone interviewing people in May, as you would need to take the tests,have a dm interview, medical an hand in a your notice period which for most people would be a month.

Hmm not sure your right with 2am starts unless you drive the cargo trains, I've never seen any passenger trains in the middle of the night, but if so there's always ways round things like grab a lift with a work college or push bike, I only live 10 miles from my preferred station. As for being...
