Glad you like the TVMs, its been quite a challenge to put them in.

We are reviewing locations for additional TVMs so I will add Redcar (Saltburn bound) to the list. As you say they are predicated on income and the speed of payback, especially given the close proximity to our franchise end.

I do not deal with CIS, but have asked my colleague that does, he is checking and I will update you when I hear back from him.

Hi there,

I noticed you are involved with the installation of the Northern TVMs, and can I say what a brilliant tool they are! Saves much time at my local station of Redcar Central!

I was just wondering if you could look at installing at 'card only' TVM on platform 2 (towards Saltburn) as people who are traveling from the town centre end would have to double back by means of timing to get across the barriers, or going right round over the foot bridge the ticket office and machine!

I can fully understand that you install TVMs on the busier platform as logic shows this is where the bulk of the income comes from.

Do you have any idea if Redcar are expected to get CIS's?
