As I said my parents would always whenever possible send our luggage in advance, Weymouth, 3 times Isle Of Wight at least 4 times. I expect there were other resorts that we would have visited but they don't come to mind at the moment. It was a long time ago. All I cansay I certainly remember taking out big trunk to our local station then finding delivered to the place where we were staying.

We never done that with our luggage, but I had heard of this system being used by BR in the past. I can't remember where I read about it, but it was mentioned in the article I read that folk had arrived at their hotel and the luggage was already there.

I was there a bit earlier than you. Doubt if anybody that I knew was around at that time. I would expect things had changed.
