Latest 2 efforts were 1053cells one mistake, no omissions and 1075 cells completed no mistakes, no ommisions.

Been practising this for a week now and on average I seem to be getting 8 to nine lines with no errors and 1 omission. Is this good enough?

Depends what kind of Government is in charge ultimately. A nationalised Railway would make it easier for Unions and all Rail grades to co-ordinate industrial action which was probably a major reason for privatising it in the first place.

That's untrue. The RMT raised this issue at the JSC a couple of years ago. The company rejected proposals to ensure all Conductors are first aid trained stating there's no ORR requirement and that it would be too costly to manage and maintain competence.

That's not true. The RMT raised this with the previous franchise holder at its JSC with Directors and we're rebuffed on grounds of cost of maintaining and managing competence.

The company have just issued a statement via email to staff stating what they expect from talks while it's negotiating team are supposedly "negotiating", not exactly conducive to productive talks.

From what I understand, compromise isn't on the table from either side. The RMT aren't willing to give up dispatch and the company still want the ability to run trains without a second person.

I should clarify "from an RMT point if view" obviously the company want something completely different.

The RMT position is clear. 3 items to be agreed as has ways been the case. If they negotiate anything less than that they have lost, they may lose anyway but then they know that already.
