Transferring in some of the Voyagers that are coming off / are off lease would be a good start. Moving from 4/5 to 8/9 car trains would increase capacity by 100% within a year. 2 such trains an hour would seem more than adequate given current loadings on the present half-hourly service...

XC are now only running every 2 hours beyond Birmingham International to Oxford for at least the next few weeks. Add to this the line closure between Oxford and Didcot and the result is an appalling service on this key route from the airport and from Coventry to the south. XC is not highlighting...
