Thanks. In the end I took a train that stopped at Luton. It was fairly busy, so didn't have a chance to ask the man checking tickets if I could have travelled via Luton Airport Parkway instead.
Hi
I have an off peak split ticket for travel on Sunday from Chesterfield to London, which require me to take a train which stops at Market Harborough and Luton. Is this also valid on trains that stop at Market Harbourough and Luton Airport Parkway, but not Luton itself?
Thanks.
Thanks. Does Marylebone definitely sell Oyster top up at the manned ticket windows? The station info here suggests it might only be available at the machine (where I don't think I can use the voucher as payment)... http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations_destinations/MYB.aspx
Thanks. I'm travelling in less than two weeks, so probably don't have time to post off the vouchers to get them exchanged.
But I work in central London, so if anyone has experience of a ticket office that has been helpful in the past with selling national rail tickets and Oyster top ups at the...

Would I need to do this in...
Hi
I'm planning to travel from London to Oxford on Saturday, to arrive by about midday, then on to Taunton to arrive by 9 pm at the latest, then to return to London during the day on Monday or Tuesday.
I have a Gold Card, and I think the cheapest way to do this is to buy an off-peak return...
Will do next time I run up against it. Mostly I travel at evening peak so ticket office is open, just very busy. Quickest option I've found for High Speed tickets is to use the dedicated Southeastern member of sales staff with a portable ticket machine by the Southeastern high speed platforms.
Thanks. Think I might have run into this too - plus also not being able to find a Gold Card option on (I think) East Midlands Trains ticket vending machine at St Pancras.
I have a Gold Card, but sometimes travel using tickets with a Network Railcard discount applied. Ticket inspectors (mostly on Southeastern) haven't had a problem with this so far. Have I just been lucky, or is this officially ok?
(The reason I do this is that I've struggled to find Gold Card...
