Thread as the title suggests. Get in quick before the advert is taken down early due to masses of applications as is GTR’s usual trend.
Avanti has also approached qualified drivers that were unsuccessful in the Avanti recruitment process about a year ish ago and have now offered to proceed with their applications again.
They made mention of the following:
Poor relations between DM team and the drivers. (Very ‘them and us’)

Just ensure you are fully informed by a non speculative person in the know that actually works at your chosen depot before taking the jump. I am aware of several drivers that joined Avanti at the Euston depot in 2021 & 2022 and left within a couple of months due to the collective state of things...
That’s correct. However, the terms and conditions, the intensity of the work and diagrams definitely isn’t up there. The price of a high salary and a DOO intense inner London network I guess.

Times change as we all know. This is how it is whether we agree or disagree with it. There are a lot more factors involved in the job nowadays other than just driving the train. You are set in your opinion and mindset I see. Each to their own.
