If Labour came to power and renationalised the railways what would happen to current terms and conditions for rail employees as currently this differs between different TOCs and FOCs. Would pay and T&Cs have to be bought in line so that employees at the same grade are paid the same...

I know when I was at London Overground there was talk of DOO for years before I joined them. Then we had a massive recruitment drive in conductors and a year after the Olympics all conductors were given notice. I believe that London Overground will be 100% DOO by end of August.
