Same as me, looking at how some of the other TOC's operate on this forum I suppose we shouldn't complain to much with it only being a month since closing date.
Which depot did you apply for Skoodle

I applied for Preston however with no route knowledge of said depot I'm not holding my breath.
Your existing route / traction knowledge is irrelevant, we've just had two start at Wolves, one from Brighton the other from Machynlleth. It all depends if your application meets the grade.

Any more news on you application ? Or anyone else for that matter.
Mine still says recently submitted so at least you have got a step closer.
I guessing they are looking to having new drivers start at the beginning of 2014 what with the assessment day still to go, medical, references and notice period for current TOC's.

Tried calling but once i went through all the options I was told no one available to answer your call please leave a message.
Basically said what's happening and I understand you had interviews on the 30/07 so how does that affect my application when you haven't even read it yet!
Recorded message all stated that due too the high volumes of applicant you will hear back within the next 4-6 weeks so I presume that was from when you submitted the application.
My guess is they read some until they have enough to qualify for there criteria and go with that first. Seems unfair if you haven't even read some / majority.
A change from 'candidate processing' to 'Rejected after screening' for Preston. Euston still holding at 'Recently Submitted'

Now both are showing as rejected... Congrats to the successful candidates.
Didn't even get to candidate progressing just got rejected after screening. Not sure how that works but as I stated in other posts not the end of the world. Personally I don't even think they looked at my application.
it's who you know not what you know and that is fair enough just wish I never wasted my time applying but if you don't try you'll never know.
It's not a loss to me and I'll will look elsewhere from now on.
