training for conductor ?

Hello my aim is to become a conductor and I have failed at interview stage 2 times for this role

I was just wondering if there is anywhere you can pay to do full PTS course And DP ?

I don't really have any customer service experience, would doing a customer service course would be worth doing ?

I read of here sometime ago that you can pay for phystomtical test at DB in Doncaster is this still possible ?

To be honest, one of the biggest things they're looking for is customer service experience, much more so than things like PTS which for a conductor can be taught in an afternoon. And the best way you can get that, is to get a job that deals with customers.

Usually with conductor roles they make you do the psychometric tests before the interview. Plus, each company does different (but similar) ones anyway. So I'd be inclined to agree with the above, make sure you're customer and safety focussed and have a good few examples of situations you've been involved in to talk about when they ask you questions at interview.

As said above, one of the key things they'll look for is experience and how you would handle a situation. Basically your skills.

I believe the tests are no industry standard on 1 database with a 2 strikes your out system

Yes, but not every company does every test, and there are a number of tests you can be asked to sit. The most common combination is SCAAT+RAAT+Ticket Selling/Checking, but some do Group Bourdon instead of SCAAT, some do the CSVT instead of the RAAT, and at least one does the NUMST instead of the Tickety one. Some don't do SCAAT or Group Bourdon at all. And some do a role play or their own company specific tests too.

They're standard tests but you won't necessarily sit the same standard tests at different TOCs.

I think the most important thing to understand is that you failed at the interview stage.

You can get as qualified as you like but if you're dropping the ball at interview all the extra work is pointless.

Find out what you failed upon then rectify it by addressing your weaknesses.

I've recently been through the process for a conductor job with zero so called customer service experience having served in the military for 20 plus years.

Tried to gauge my application to tick the boxes that they were looking for and it seemed to work fine as I got through the interview stage which is the hardest part I dare say.

training for conductor ?
