I haven't seen this mentioned before but apologies if it's something I've missed.

A couple of years ago, I came across a website selling unused GNER dinnerware but I can't seem to find it now. Is the website still in operation and if so, what's the address?

Try the Weardale Railway. They were given a shedload of GNER stuff to flog off for fundraising.

Quite a lot used to get pinched when on depot for cleaning......

Stories of seeing it in curry houses and on market stalls were often around!

I have been to a number of of "Heritage Railways" like the Weardale and many of them have second hand stalls/shops where I have seen and bought on a couple of occassions ex BR & other TOCS odds & ends including clothing, china etc etc.
