There were two pairs of GBRf 20s at West Ruislip at the time you went past: 20096 + 20107 (both BR Blue) / 20314 (HNRC Orange) + 20905 (GBRf Blue/Yellow) - take your pick!

There were no 66/7 listed at that location on TOPS reports at 11:30 and 18:45 that day, and the only working to/from West Ruislip was the above Class 20s moving to Banbury later that night - so I don't think there was a GBRf 66 there (that's not to say there definitely wasn't). If you saw a flash of GBRf livery, it may well have been 20905 you saw?

Can't help with HST set (there's a pic of it here (not mine) - but don't think it helps ID the rake... https://flic.kr/p/211kr3Y), nor the Chiltern 68s - the latter's workings don't show on TOPS, so with the info I have at least pretty impossible to ID which one was doing what (they all just show as "Wembley LMD" even when working the diagrams).

Many thanks. The "66" was seen from a 166 with the filthiest windows I've seen in many a long year so could well have been a 20! (I can usually tell them apart

) Oh, and I was sitting on the other side of the train, so it really was just a glimpse. I probably just saw the livery and assumed a 66 ...

There were five in Dollands Moor today (which I'm assuming is what you're referring to - just prior to the entrance to the tunnel) - none were 92008 (that's been stored growing weeds in Crewe Electric depot for the last 11 years!)

Your line up was:

DBC 92s:
92015 - Triple Grey / EWS Beastie logo
92036 - Triple Grey / EWS Beastie logo
92042 - DB Red

GBRf 92s:
92028 - GBRf Blue & Yellow
92044 - Triple Grey / no logos

92028 and 92044 were stabled/coupled together if that helps - I suspect the three DB machines would have been stabled near each other too.
