Blackpool North is also a station which shares the first word of its name with two other stations (South and Pleasure Beach)

For a short time, Chiltern Railways operated a parliamentary service starting from South Ruislip, nonstop to Paddington and return nonstop to Gerrards Cross. Nowadays, the parliamentary train terminates at West Ealing before nonstopping to High Wycombe.

Shrewsbury is also a small extension of the VT network off the WCML, only served a handful of times each day.

The eastern terminus of the North London Line, which goes through Caledonian Road and Barnsbury, is Stratford.
