1) This station is electrified but DMU's operate some services

4) This station has only recently expanded to four platforms, having only previously had two. It was also completely refurbished around ten years ago.

Okay, looks like my clues have come to a dead end, so I'll provide the final clue:

1) This station is electrified
2) This station has four platforms
3) This station is served predominantly by one TOC, but there are two others that serve it and one or two more that can pass through non-stop
4) This station has only recently expanded to four platforms, having only previously had two. It was also completely refurbished around ten years ago.
5) This station is in the people's republic of South Yorkshire

I think that there's exactly 4 electrified stations in South Yorkshire, and it obviously isn't Doncaster, Adwick or Bentley, so Rotherham Central - although clue 3 is false in that case

How is clue 3 false? Northern serve it, along with TPE and Supertram. EMT and XC pass through occasionally non-stop.

I was more thinking along the lines of Northern serve it predominantly, and Supertram serve it too along with TPE.

I used the word false as it was used originally to describe cloud three.
