Who would you like to make train passenger announcements?

Everyone seems to be picking sexily voiced women to do the announcements. Like the “this isn’t just a station, this has an M&S on the station”

So as an antidote. I would like to nominate

Kathy Burke
Mrs Doyle - Father Ted
Tracy Barlow off Corrie
Anne Hegarty
Rusty Lee

Anyone argues with me and I’ll ask for Janet Street Porter to be the next voice of the bogs!

Nobody would be a good choice. Bit of peace and quiet rather than incessant announcements about remembering your personal belongings, next station stop, thank you for travelling, welcome to those joining us on this service to wherever calling at a long list of stations, the buffet is now open selling this and that, the trolley will be coming through selling lukewarm tea and stake coffee yada yada yada.
