I too would second that.
Definitely not, it would be wrong line working and missing the up side building! Can't confirm Carstairs but can't think anywhere else that's at all likely.

It's Carstairs. Must have been a special commission as the Glasgow to Euston postal was normally hauled by an AC electric not a class 47.
I haven’t tried to zoom in but I assume the loco is 47549 ‘Night Mail’?
There is also a mail service not under the wires shown slightly later in the video so special commission makes sense.

It’s Carstairs. Looks nothing like Carnforth, there are electrified sidings to the right of the picture.
Have to stop and watch that advert every time I see it. Can't even begin to imagine today's industry trying to produce something anywhere near the quality of that to sell itself.
Oops. You’re right of course.
I remember seeing 515 at York just after naming which is why it sticks out to me. 549 was named shortly after it I believe.
