A semi-rural part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 783 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Criggion
It follows the line of the S&MR Criggion Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Shropshire and Montgomery Railway
It then follows the line of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Llanidloes and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Mid-Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway
It then follows the line of the Golden Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway...note 1st & 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Pontypool, Caerleon and Newport Railway
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Vale of Glamorgan Line...via the Penarth Docks loop line
It then follows the line of the Duffryn, Llynvi and Porthcawl Railway
It then follows the line of the South Wales Mineral Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of North Rhondda

The first closed station on this journey is Criggion
