From Chipstead Jn just after Purley Station, Whyteleafe South is the 3rd station down the line on the Purley and Caterham Line. If you instead take the Tattenham Corner Line from Chipstead Jn, the 3rd station down the line is Woodmansterne

Stevenage is also close to a junction that shares its name with a separate National Rail station.

Woking is the penultimate stop for some Up services from Salisbury. The other Up services instead have Clapham Junction as their penultimate call before Waterloo.

For many years Springburn was the interchange station between the Glasgow North electric services and the diesel multiple unit shuttles to/from Cumbernauld.
