A path is in for a loco to move to Merchant Park on Tuesday.
Presumably to move 807010 for a night of testing prior to delivery to Wembley. (Can’t see any paths in system for delivery as yet)
RTT path included below.

(Could also be to drag a 810 to Old Dalby but normally that’s a morning drag)

Can’t be 807010 as there’s no path in for it from York/Darlington

on a 807 right now and got to say the ride quality is rather bad, around bends nearly everybody has spiled their drink at one point or another
can see why tilting helps on the 390's and 221's
The main issue with drinks spilling is the seat back tables, the same issue exists on the refurbished 390s.

I find them to be some of the best riding 80x (albeit I’ve been on 51 Evero services, far more than I’ve been on any other 80x), and they seem on a par with 350s on the fast lines with regard to ride quality.

As I wrote in my post!
The delivery path would be Wednesday which means it may not yet of been processed into the system!!
There is 807 testing between Darlington and Doncaster overnight Tuesday so you are probably right, the journey to Wembley hasn’t made it through yet.

I must say this is unusual. I have used the 805/807s around 40 times, and in all cases the ride quality has been exceptional.

When the MU speed is introduced, I may review my opinion.

I'm getting reports from a Class 80x driver of heat issues in electric mode requesting a reduction in power. Seems to be inverters overheating. Has anyone else heard of this issue?

Not personally. Diesel is another matter, and even now some GWR sets are suffering with engines getting hot and de rating to reduced power, noticeably more on 802s than 800s, though not as bad as when the problem first surfaced a few years back.

Yes, happens all the time on our 802s as soon as it’s above 20°

And that should be 807010 in its unique Together We Roll livery being delivered to Wembley marking the complete rollout of the Avanti West Coast Class 805/807 Evero sets.

Let’s just see if this happens!
The unit has remained stuck at Darlington all day, where it currently remains.
They were unable to get the unit and the 66 couples up.
Now, wether it needs to go back to factory before it can be delivered, or wether it can still do testing tonight remains to be seen.

Any more on this situation?

Unit and loco both remain at Darlington.

The path that would normally move them between Merchant Park and Darlington tonight has been manually activated this afternoon, so goodness knows what they are doing.

I would keep an eye on the path below to see if it does testing tonight
Update at 23:44 it had departed south on its test run.

807010 has worked ECS 5Q71 10:51 Euston to Liverpool Lime Street today (7/7).
Looks like it's booked to return at 16:38 ex Liverpool on 5Q72
