Looks like a Class 334 running from Shields Depot or Yoker depot to Wolverton Centre Sidings.
Running itself rather than being hauled like 334004
(says it is a 350 move but changes en route)
can anyone confirm update on any of the following units please, that have not been in service for a while
156474 - Broadies Kilmarnock, stopped summer 24 after a fire
156502 - Wolverton for welding works
156513 - Wolverton for welding works
158721 - EG Steel Hamilton for collision damage...
With the various posts on Class 318/320 reaching 40yrs old soon… does anyone know when next major overhaul is due, if they are to continue in service.
My thoughts are that the Class 320 could be due in 2yrs with the Class 318 2 years behind.
Not sure where bogie overhauls are if they are more...
Hi All
Is anyone able to confirm how badly damaged 318258 was in the fire at Motherwell?
Also is it still at Shields?
Have seen one mention that it might be a write off
Thanks
Al
We can now officially confirm Barrhead will be 380 operated as the unit that works the service all day goes on to work a service to Ayr. RTT now has winter timetable available
without duplicating other threads (apologies if have) or getting into DOO arguements.
Barrhead services from December 2023
Mu thoughts are this will become 3 or 4 car Class 380 operation, with Class 318/320 taking over Paisley Canal services. Suspect Barrhead might go half hourly from...
Wonderes if anyone on here is able to answer these questions.
318269 derailed at Corkerhill Depot a couple of weeks and has been stopped since. Was there much damage to 318269?
318250 failed on the morning (think it was 10/01) and has been out of service since. Anyone know what fault is and...
i think with downturn in traffic after covid, rather than Scotrail look at new units for Barrhead and East Kilbride line they should take the Class 321/9 and Class 322.
These 4 car units could operate Neilston off peak services allowing the 4 car Class 380 to operate East Kilbride services...
318251 was to be released from Broadies Kilmarnock yesterday but due to a major fault with the radio network in the low level (cable fire), the move was cancelled.
Barriers were left at Broadies but loco went light to Doncaster.
318257 is stopped at Yoker CS as the next unit due to go for TBox
Just wondering if anyone has an update on 334017?
It was returned to Shields in July, but still has not returned to service.
is there still more repairs to be completed, or has it just been stored due to down turn in traffic?
Many Thanks in advance
