I have to say 2601 looks absolutely stunning in that photo, a fantastic livery on one of my favourite looking locos, the broken noses.
I am considering a Luxembourg visit with a WW2 history slant. I know there is a couple of Battle of the Bulge museums and memorial museums, but is there anything you would recommend that might not be apparent from google searches that would be a good visit? Thanks
Its hard to get your head round, ticket prices increase 50% when your railcard runs out.
Mind you some of the cheapest East Coast Advance tickets are still good value if you get them quick enough
Butterley never seems to get the information onto their website about events. I see they are launching a new one in June, hopefully the content will be updated - it might tempt more people there.
