GWR liveried Class 08 08836 has found a new home at Reading TCD. Delivered by road on Monday, it’s currently sat right at the Tilehurst end of the depot.

There is a large fire at the recycling plant close to the line at St Erth which appears to have spread onto the 'railway side of the fence'. All trains On Stop & St Erth station reported being evacuated!

Does anybody what 150248 was up to today? After running to Reading from Bristol TM as 5Z12 it ran back to Bristol (reversing at Didcot NJ and the west curve), it later worked to St Phillips Marsh and then onto Westbury, all as a class 5. Strange to see a 150/2 at Reading!
