That court appearance had nothing to do with the £10k fine which was issued later in the year at an event he was accused of organising.

Lockdown in England from Thursday 5 November until Wednesday 2 December

I suspect the use of tiers will continue after lockdown and extending furlough should reduce the haggling over finances that we saw before.

Could any of the signallers on 12 hour rosters post a few examples please, particularly 4 week rosters with 3 days rest after finishing nights into days. We are being told that 48 hour rest after nights is not compliant though we suspect that is under the coming NRP which hasn’t been agreed yet.

    Media Coverage of COVID -19

A “suggestion” that areas “may” have herd immunity is now an epidemiological fact, gotcha. In any case I was responding about the sage report and that I believe they are correct in their belief that aiming for herd immunity while shielding the vulnerable isn’t possible. Edit; I now realise you...

    Media Coverage of COVID -19

wether You believe in herd immunity or not properly shielding the vulnerable is nigh on impossible, plenty of key workers are classed as vulnerable before you even include their household members who’d also have to shield, then you have people working with/for the vulnerable, are you expecting...

That was my understanding too but not what we’ve been told this time. We’ve got a couple who are seriously considering quitting and my missus may have to give up her job which doesn’t seem right to me.

Yup when I was younger, got a kid now and a missus who works 12 hours for the NHS, childcare is hard enough now never mind a couple of days a week when we’d both be on 12’s, and the thought of not seeing my son at all for 3-4 days a week isn’t very appealing.
