Yes Imp...you beat me to it! At that time the land of the HL station was wasteland and was for a few more years. The steps from the Western pub to the HL eastbound platform are still used today to get to the Taff Vale estate and to the extant station. The old up platform on the LL will come back...- Quakers Yard
