The latest running of the Cathedrals Express -next Tuesday- features 'Flying Scotsman' running from Victoria to Reading and then onward to Chester. Tickets are being sold for Vic - Reading separately to the 'main tour'.....with all the secrecy about 60103 and its excursions I was hoping...

Travelled on the 16:39 today which just about had space for all the enthusiasts.....! Serious question could 55020 be 'hauled' with 55034 for Friday to increase seating capacity? I haven't a clue if this is possible -or allowable - but they look like they'll need more seats for the last day.

Does anybody know if the Sunday run to Littlehampton via the Worthing is still happening? and if so are there any timings about?

Is 34046 Braunton definitely going to be there? I know it's still 'on the bill' so to speak but it was replaced on last weekends Excursion from Three Bridges to Bath by a Black Five. What I can't find out is why it was switched at short-ish notice? was it a physical problem with the Bulleid...

Just got this snap of 45407 as it stopped at Worthing.

Have just checked the timings for today's run from Three Bridges to Bath and have found that the Black 5 45407 is now booked to haul it rather than 34046 (masquerading as 34052). Cannot seem to find anywhere why loco's have been changed, is there a problem with the WC?

They're are doing an early morning Brake van ride up the entire line plus the Ardingly Spur at Horsted Keynes on the Saturday and Sunday which will be behind the 09. Good for people into rare track. Also there's a driver for a Fiver during the day....doesn't say which loco but assume the 09...
