Is this journey valid? I ask because I already have an Off-Peak Return from Liverpool to London, but will now be travelling from Chester for the outbound. So if the route is valid, could I start at Chester with my existing ticket, or is it a new ticket/excess? Thanks in advance for any help...

I actually mentioned that to the guard - if there's a 'Wigan Only' ticket then what IS/ARE the other route(s) allowed by the slightly dearer all routes ticket. He didn't answer that one. Thanks for all the replies everyone.
