I'd like to hear stories about when you've had to fail a train. I've heard from other drivers that control and maintenance have tried to get them to continue on (to avoid delay attribution fines) and the driver has either had to lay down the law (or got totally shafted along the way).

Yes, I have done this test. They have a specific order checklist of three things that need to happen for the train to depart. Then they mix them up and you have to determine if the train can depart. I remember they play a tape, where there is a horn, and someone saying :Train ready to depart!"...
