    Just had trainee conductor interview

I'm sure you'll be fine with your medical. My bmi was 39 and I was fine. Congrato on the appointment mate, as long as you keep your head down and don't do anything stupid you'll never work another day in your life :)

    Questions for a Conductor

I'm currently in my 7th week of training, really enjoying it. Been out working with a minder doing doors and announcments and it's good fun, deffinately beats sitting in an office all day. If your the kinda person that enjoys being around people and making things work you'll love it

    Medical - Trainee Conductor.

My bmi is about 38 and I was fine. Think it's more for drivers that it's a point due to space between the seat and console

What happens if you're not included in a recent training course?

As far as I'm aware your not sent for medical until they've got you a start date in mind. Or it'd be a waste of money

    advice needed please.

No but it's another way of getting your foot in the door, my point was that a friend went in as a cleaner and is now a qualified driver. And as far as I'm aware northern cleaners still have to do their pts

    Northern conductor medical bmi.

Yeah I've worked in a leisure centre for ten years and used to use the gym 4 times a week but after having our daughter I couldn't find the time. The plan is once I'm on my shifts il join somewhere as she's starting nursery in september so exercise won't be a problem --- old post above --- ---...

    advice needed please.

A friend of mine started as a cleaner, after a month decided he wanted to the be a conductor and within 18 months was offered a driving job. I start my conductor training on Monday and fully plan on one day becoming a driver. As others have said, get your foot in the door and prove yourself...
