I thought that maybe it was for when the locos are double headed and used both main res pipes to fill the main res on both the locos quicker by using all the compressers.
There's the red for the train pipe and two yellows for the main res (usally only the one next to the red is used) what is the second yellow pipe used for?

I have all ready e-mailed the a1 loco trust but they just said to keep looking at the website, however it has no timings for tornado and it's going tomorrow.

Hi, I was woundering how i'll go abouts starting to own and operate my own heritage stock on the BIG mainline on railtours and lending out to other TOC's plus how much of my life savings do i need to spend.
it's not going to happen for a few years yet but anywho why not ask now
i've read that they where thinking of puting 156s on these services to begin with and then thinking about ordering new stock. i'm not sure where they plan on getting said class 156s but their better then bouncy 142s
