Running the Overground through Stratford and up to Meridian Water (and even potentially to Chingford via the Hall Farm Curve) is apparently an option on the table as part of a total re-jig of Stratford station.

What can they do at Christmas? I thought nothing could happen until the trains are running through the core?

Has there recently been some progress on this? I saw that there was going to be reduced overnight service on TfL Rail for a few months over Summer, and wondered if it was related.

I think the Platform Edge Doors have train indicators on them to avoid that confusion.

I think you'd get hammered if you didn't plan around the passenger reduction due to Crossrail, so I'd be extremely surprised if bidders didn't come up with some assumptions around the timetable. Then the standard timetabling software (MOIRA) will give a good estimate of the revenue loss.

Yes, and the number of times there are delays started by long dwells at Forest Gate and Manor Park shows just why these stations need the extra services/regular stopping pattern.

On a different note, this morning's 0756 Shenfield - Liverpool St was a 315 again today, when it is usually a 345. Does anyway one know whether this was: a) a fault with this specific 345? b) a 345 that has been transferred to the Western side? or c) some other unknown thing?
