    They've had around 2200 applications and they have to go through each one. There is only one person managing the review of applications and invite process so it will be a slow one. They also draft in about 4-8 candidates at a time for assessments... Also various depots have different priorities...

    If you're concerned about budget and pay dates. Ensure you have your p45 to ensure payroll calculate the correct tax and use the right tax code. If you don't have a p45 get the starter check list process underway and get them to confirm it's all sorted before pay day.

    Ok I'm not familiar with how chiltern do their process but mine is with GWR and it's my first time applying and doing any form of assesment with them. Best bet is to have an open and honest conversation with the HR lead. All the best and hope to hear some success stories soon.
