If you contact the recruitment number and ask your application to be allocated to another depot your application may be progressed quicker than say Waterloo. It's likely they will move your application to that specific depot. Where you may have to progress through the entire process before...

They took about 3 weeks with me due to staff shortage and annual leave... you can always call to follow up.

Passed assessments and still sent the email to submit an application.

This is still the case. No urgency at Waterloo for now as other depots have taken priority.

They've had around 2200 applications and they have to go through each one. There is only one person managing the review of applications and invite process so it will be a slow one. They also draft in about 4-8 candidates at a time for assessments... Also various depots have different priorities...

If you're concerned about budget and pay dates. Ensure you have your p45 to ensure payroll calculate the correct tax and use the right tax code. If you don't have a p45 get the starter check list process underway and get them to confirm it's all sorted before pay day.

exciting times! and Well done - I am sure there is a great sense of personal achievement :D Embrace it. I am waiting for my response - had my interview last week Wednesday and was told this Monday I should have something back... Who knows...I expect the worse that way good news is a surprise.

Sorry to hear. I was honestly expecting the opposite as I've seen nothing but good news on applications made to Gwr by most of the posts I've been reading. Was this at the individual or group activity stage ?

Ok I'm not familiar with how chiltern do their process but mine is with GWR and it's my first time applying and doing any form of assesment with them. Best bet is to have an open and honest conversation with the HR lead. All the best and hope to hear some success stories soon.

Yeah I'm at the last stage whereby we do joint team activities and if you meet requirements you get invited for an interview on the day. What operator isit ?
