    Virgin Employee Travel Perks

I'm not saying that. I'm saying its not your business as to who has or hasn't paid the correct fare for their journey unless you are employed by the TOC to do that job.

    Virgin Employee Travel Perks

Its not arrogance. Its "i've got better things to do with my time than pushing my nose into other peoples business"

    Virgin Employee Travel Perks

Its not your business whether or not they are entitled to it (free travel). Its down to the employers of the train operating company to enforce. Next you'll be saying that the priv rate tickets should be withdrawn altogether and that rail staff should pay the fare like everyone else!

    East Coast: Electric v Diesel

TGV you are a rolling stock engineer right? Is that a fitter? Do you look after the 365s? I guess I am biased as I used to work with 465/9s which I thought are similar to the 365s. And at their top speed of 75 - you know about it. They are also 20 years old now like the 365s. Surely the ambience...

    East Coast: Electric v Diesel

Eurostars are very slow accelerating compared with Class 395 Javelins. The class 395s are reckoned to be the fastest accelerating mainline trains in the country and can reach 100 mph from a stand in 90 seconds flat. As for the Class 91/HST vs Class 365 on a short hop between Kings Cross and...

    PLEASE check my ticket!

I've listened to people who regularly don't pay and would rather risk getting chucked off or getting a Penalty fare or unpaid fares notice. Many of these serial non payers can be conmuters who pretend to be asleep or get aggressive when challenged for a ticket and dealing with them takes...
