The short forms have gone on for so long now it really isn’t acceptable. So tonight from liv st: 1630 is 321s 1730 only 8 no cafe 1750 only 8 1810 only 8 (and only one first) 1830 only 8 1900 cancelled 1930 only 8 2000 only 8 (reduced first no disabled toilet). Not good

The Rolls Royce 127s weren’t allowed down the widened lines to moorgate so the Rolls Cravens units did that and Kentish Town to Barking until replaced by the 116s. The midland moorgate service was 116 to the end of dmu working

In today’s era I’d nominate class 153. Ridiculous looking, noisy, smelly. Back in the 70s I’d nominate class 125 DMUs, not HST but the 3 car rolls royce/derby units originally working out of Liverpool street and later out of broad st/kings x on gn suburban. Reliability very poor. See this post...
