I reckon it should be fine, it's only taking off one (relatively empty) bus so shouldn't add too much pressure. Agreed with how busy the 3 is on this section though: shame there aren't enough tri-axles to run on it alongside the other services which seem to need them!

Wouldn't surprise me - always see the 41 running very empty through Old Town! And the same goes for the 8, both parts could very reasonably be reduced to run every 30 minutes without leaving anyone behind from my observations and I'm sure others can also comment.
