I use a Sony Handycam FDR-AX53 camcorder plus a Rode external mic. I've also got a Panasonic Lumix FX1000 bridge camera and the Rode mic fits that as well.

Personally, I've never liked the silver trains. I'd rather see London Transport trains in the red livery that I grew up with. The only exceptions were the T stock and the loco hauled Dreadnoughts. At least the modern trains have red fronts now, so I suppose I should be grateful for that.

No doubt there'll be some photos and / or videos on Flickr and YouTube when they do arrive. I've made one expedition up to the smoke to get some video and photos of the current 1973 stock, but I'd better get my skates on and have another trip to Piccadilly Land.

I was surprised to hear the term 'goods train'. I'm old enough to remember when they were called goods trains, but I though that nowadays they were referred to as 'freight trains'. Also, having hit the so called goods train, how come the Sleeper train didn't at least derail?
