Thank you for your reply. Just to confirm as long as the stretch of line is Track Circuit Block and at least two stop signals to pass Emergency Special Working or Temporary Block Working could be introduced even if there happens to be distant or repeater signal in between some of the stop signals?

Thank you all for your replies & sorry for the the abbreviations that I've since edited. In the Rule Book it mentions when passing two signals at danger that there can't be a distant signal but no mention with the Temporary Block Working or Emergency Special Working.

I understand that Emergency Special Working (ESW) & Temporary Block Working (TBW) can only be applied on Track Circuit Block (TCB) lines with two or more tracks & to pass two or more consecutive signals. Do the consecutive signals need to be stop signals or can it still be applied to TCB lines...

In the Driver's Rule Book I find the following a little confusing as to when possibly doing a Wrong Direction move what speed you'd be required to do over Level Crossing with wrong direction controls. For example if doing a wrong direction move over a level crossing with X50 speed boards...

Can anybody help please. I'm trying to figure out what route is set at signal BL1536 Patchway Junction on the Up Tunnel Line when you get two flashing yellows at BL1544 and one flashing yellow at BL1540.

Thank you for your reply & I'm not disputing anything you're saying. In the SA (that is available to everyone except for the NESA site) under each Route Code there's all the information about that particular route except the signalling information. What is needed (in my opinion) is also...

Maybe but my point is that it's not readily available like the information in the SA when in my opinion it should be...... I've emailed NR (from my company email) asking for information regarding a part of a route but never got a reply........legal duty to cooperate... Really ???

I know some TOCs don't allow the use of the GSM-R whilst on the move (except in emergency situations). Really you would think that a TOC/FOC that pays NR to travel over their track that NR would supply the TOC/FOC with all the information for the part of the network that they'd be travelling...
