    There is still talk of extending some Robin Hood Line services along the former LDECR with stations at Warsop, Edwinstowe & Ollerton. So why not relay the line from Marnham & extend the service through to Lincoln? It would save passengers from the Mansfield area having to go the long way round...

    Looking at Realtime Trains for today, 1Z35 didn't run, 1A35 was used for the whole train. Has as been stated, it is probably in case the Chester portion has to run on it's own, if the Holyhead portion was running late, or maybe cancelled due to failure etc. It saves having to wait for a VSTP...

    Just how busy are these loco's when in Europe? Baffles me how they can manage without them for the leaf-fall season, then need them back straight after!! Or do they not run freight trains during that period, due to leaves all over the track.:)
