St Pancras to Cricklewood, then along the freight only lines to Acton Wells, then along the Great Western mainline to West Ealing, then the Greenford branch and finally we joined the Chiltern line at Greenford. No running on LU Tracks.

73s haul NR test trains down there once in a while.
Sounds interesting, but tours 2 and 3 in the dark, so you can't see anything. I understand slotting it in on busy lines is a problem, hence the timings, but it's too late for me.
I have found of the preserved railways I've been on, on the Ecclesbourne the staff are extremely friendly and approachable. Even fellow visitors are good, no serious anti social cranks the couple of times I've been.
I saw this info on IanVisits blog early this morning. I Have always wanted to the Brentford branch. Will make a day of it and do other branches off the GWML.
