    The fact that they were bespoke for the Chunnel and after years of heavy use are knackered, with parts that are obsolete. All the useful bits will be going to Temple Mills and Le Landy. It wouldn't surprise me if the remaining 373s are scrapped within 10 years, quite possibly within 5.

    Each line has two half sets. So for example 3007/8 are half sets 3007 and 3008.

    Isn't the new E* stock Siemens Velaro too? They're going to have the same issues running in Germany as DB, unless they send the 373s there and use the e320s on the original 3 capital routes.
